Puppy Obedience Class
Puppy class is a fun,
positive-motivation group class. The class meets one hour per week for
six consecutive weeks. Class is held both indoors and outdoors, utilizing the environment around us as a distraction. In other words, simulating real life.
It is designed to incorporate your puppy into your lifestyle versus changing
your lifestyle because you have a puppy.
During
class we will discuss nutrition, crates, potty training,
leashes, collars, using treats properly, along with any other topics or
questions dealing with puppy behavior.
Obedience
lessons will include:
Come, sit, stay, down, heel, and look
Two kinds of quiet time
Door etiquette (developing into boundaries)
"Leave it" (sight, sound, and smell)
"Place" (go to and stay at a specific
location)
Three to
five different methods or techniques will be shown for each command, giving you
options so that both you and your puppy can choose what works best for you.
We will
also work on correcting barking, biting, chewing, digging,
and jumping.
Classes
are limited to 8 to 10 dogs. The whole family is encouraged to attend and
participate.
Fee is $105.00
Missed classes can be made up on an individual basis.

This sport provides great exercise for outgoing dogs,

however, teach to competition standards to ensure
a solid foundation for those who decide to compete.
